30 Years of MedQuest Video
NEOAHEC has been reliably offering health education resources and programming to eastern Oregonians since 1991, and our health career exploration camp, MedQuest, just completed its 30th year. To celebrate the longevity of this program, NEOAHEC has made this video!
Over 30 years, we have heard from many NEOAHEC program participants who have continued onto careers in rural healthcare (See our NEO Impact series & Success Stories), but there are quite a few people we haven’t talked to. To reach more of our participants, NEOAHEC has invested in a data management system using the Salesforce platform and built a portal for users to interact with. Our new portal is unique to NEOAHEC, and there are no other AHECs that have one quite like ours.
Using this system, NEOAHEC will work toward repeated interactions with students and professionals, ensuring that the eastern Oregon healthcare workforce is aware of the network of resources offered by NEOAHEC. We also hope to determine which of our participants have continued to careers in rural healthcare so we can continue to tailor our programming to the needs of the region.
